D'une certaine façon poussée par tout le monde musulman, la Turquie a reconquis de très vieilles, très anciennes positions dans l'Europe balkanique, et elle l'a fait, évidemment, contre les intérêts de l'Europe, mais dans l'intérêt des États-Unis qui, comme tout empire, savent très bien qu'il faut diviser pour régner et qui trouvaient, qui trouvent leur compte aujourd'hui en attisant de très vieux conflits, en réveillant de très vieilles querelles dans ce qu'il faut bien appeler une grande Turquie qui est en train de s'installer dans les Balkans, au grand dam, on peut la comprendre, de la Grèce.
To some extent urged on by the whole of the Muslim world, Turkey has reconquered some very old, very ancient positions in Balkan Europe, and it has obviously done so against the interests of Europe, but in the interests of the United States which, like any empire, knows very well how to divide and rule, and has profited and continues to profit from stirring up very old conflicts and fanning the flames of very old quarrels in what we can only call Greater Turkey, which is in the process of installing itself in the Balkans, to the great detriment, of course, of Greece.
