En ce qui concerne l'évaluation des régimes d'aide et des aides individuelles qui sont considérés comme des aides existantes conformément à l'annexe IV, chapitre 4, point 4, de l'acte d'adhésion 2003 , les lignes directrices de la Communauté concernant les aides d'état dans le secteur agricole applicables à la date du 31 décembre 2006 restent applicables jusqu'au 31 décembre 2007 sans préjudice du point 196, à condition que ces aides soient conformes auxdites lignes directrices au plus tard à la date du 30 avril 2007.
For the assessment of the aid schemes and individual aids that are regarded as existing aid in accordance with Point 4, Chapter 4 of Annex IV to the 2003 Act of Accession , the Community guidelines for State aid in the agriculture sector applicable on 31 December 2006 will remain applicable until 31 December 2007 without prejudice of point 196, provided that such aid complies with those guidelines by 30 April 2007 at the latest.

Lorsque la Commission, sur demande d'un État membre ou de sa propre initiative, constate que les importations dans l'Union de produits pétroliers raffinés aux Antilles néerlandaises sous le régime prévu à l'article 2 ci-dessus provoquent des difficultés réelles sur le marché de un ou de plusieurs États membres, elle décide que les droits de douane applicables auxdites importations seront introduits, augmentés ou réintroduits par les États membres intéressés, dans la mesure et pour la période nécessaires, pour faire face à cette situation.
1. When the Commission, at the request of a Member State or on its own initiative, establishes that imports into the Union of petroleum products refined in the Netherlands Antilles under the system provided for in Article 2 above are giving rise to real difficulties on the market of one or more Member States, it shall decide that customs duties on the said imports shall be introduced, increased or re-introduced by the Member States in question, to such an extent and for such a period as may be necessary to meet that situation.

(2) À la suite de la notification par le gouvernement français au président du Conseil d'une déclaration visant à rendre le règlement (CEE) n° 1408/71 applicable aux deux régimes de retraite complémentaire français ARRCO et AGIRC, il convient de faciliter l'application du règlement (CEE) n° 1408/71 auxdits régimes en ajoutant de nouveaux points à l'annexe IV, partie C, et à l'annexe VI, essentiellement pour tenir compte du caractère complémentaire desdits régimes par rapport aux régimes de base et du fait que les prestations qu'ils octroient sont calculées sur la base du nombre de points de retraite acquis, indépendamment des périodes d'assurance accomplies.
(2) Following the notification by the French Government to the President of the Council of a declaration making Regulation (EEC) No 1408/71 applicable to the two French supplementary pension schemes ARRCO and AGIRC, it seems appropriate to facilitate the application of that Regulation to the schemes by adding new points to Annex IV Part C and Annex VI thereto, chiefly to take account of the supplementary nature of these schemes by comparison with the basic regimes, and of the fact that the benefits they grant are calculated on the basis of the number of pension points acquired, independently of the periods completed.
