The proposed framework regulation has no financial implications at this stage. It states that under the pre-accession strategy for Turkey, the EU assistance provided for Turkey, namely Turkey's share in the MEDA programme as well as the financial assistance foreseen in the framework of the two financial regulations established under the European strategy, shall be exclusively used for pre-accession purposes.
