Welcomes the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon in the wake of the UN Security Council resolution; notes the massive presence of other foreign military forces on Lebanese soil, and calls on the Syrian government, following the Israeli withdrawal, to enter into negotiations with Israel on the remaining differences between the two countries;
