– having regard to the Framework Agreement for commercial and economic cooperation between the European Communities and Canada and other subsequent bilateral agreements with Canada, in particular the Agreement on customs cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters , the Agreement on sanitary measures to protect public and animal health in respect of trade in live animals and animal products , the Agreement on trade in wines and spirit drinks , the Agreement on civil aviation safety and the Agreement on air transport ,

Compte tenu de l’élargissement de l'Union européenne, le 1er mai 2004, et à la lumière des conclusions de la réunion du premier comité mixte de l'accord relatif au commerce du vin qui s'est tenue le 8 janvier 2004 à Santiago du Chili, des conclusions de la réunion du comité d'association qui s'est tenue en décembre 2004 à Santiago du Chili et des conclusions de la deuxième réunion du comité mixte de l'accord relatif au commerce du vin et de la première réunion du comité mixte de l'accord relatif au commerce des boissons spiritueuses et des boissons aromatisées annexé à l'accord d'association UE-Chili, qui se sont tenues les 13 et 14 juin 2005 à Madrid, il est nécessaire d'apporter des modifications techniques aux appendices I (indications géographiques des vins originaires de la Communauté), II (indications géographiques des vins originaires du Chili), III (liste des mentions traditionnelles de la Communauté) et IV (mentions de qualité complémentaires du Chili) de l'accord relatif au commerce du vin.
Due to the enlargement of the European Union on 1 May 2004, and in light of the conclusions of the first Joint Committee of the Agreement on Trade in Wines that took place in Santiago de Chile on 8 January 2004, the conclusions of the Association Committee meeting that was held in December 2004 in Santiago de Chile and the conclusions of the second Joint Committee meeting of the Agreement on Trade in Wines and first Joint Committee meeting of the Agreement on Trade in Spirit Drinks and Aromatised Drinks of the EU-Chile Association Agreement of 13- 14 June 2005, both held in Madrid, it is necessary to make technical adaptations to Appendices I (Geographical Indications of Wines Originating in the Community); II (Geographical indications of Wines Originating in Chile); III (List of Traditional Expressions of the Community) and IV (Complementary Quality Mentions of Chile) of the Agreement on Trade in Wines.

– having regard to the bilateral agreement on trade in wine between the European Union and the United States concluded on 14 September 2005,

Les deux accords correspondants relatifs au commerce des vins et des spiritueux ont été respectivement approuvés par les décisions 2002/51/CE et 2002/52/CE du Conseil du 21 janvier 2002 .
The two corresponding Agreements on trade in wine and spirits have been approved by Council Decision 2002/51/EC of 21 January 2002 and by Council Decision 2002/52/EC of 21 January 2002 respectively.
