Le Service canadien du renseignement de sécurité a entrepris de regarnir son effectif et les nouveaux employés recrutés porteront l’effectif à environ 2 397 en 2007[126]. Malgré cette hausse, la taille de l’effectif sera encore en deçà de ce qu’elle était en 1992 lorsque le SCRS comptait 2 760 employés[127].
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service has started to expand again and new hiring will raise personnel levels to an estimated 2,397 persons in 2007.[44] However, even then it will still be smaller than it was in 1992 when it had approximately 2,760 personnel.[45]
