Nous voulons bien entendu agir correctement sur le plan juridique et il serait évidemment regrettable que la Cour refuse en fin de compte la position de nos services juridiques. Nous ne pouvons cependant pas rejeter la directive ; nous aurions alors tout perdu si nous avions fait tout ce travail pour rien et si nous devions recommencer en reprenant la même tâche et les mêmes textes.
Naturally, we want to follow correct legal procedures and it would, of course, be regrettable if the Court were ultimately to reject the position of our legal services, but we cannot afford to discard the directive because then we would have nothing, all the work would have been for nothing and we might as well start all over again with the same old work and the same texts.
