Deux exemples récents : un chercheur sur le bœuf de l'université de Guelph qui s'est installé à l'université d'État du Dakota du Nord et plus récemment, un généticien de renommée mondiale de l'université de l'Alberta qui est allé en Australie pour diriger leur programme de recherche parce qu'il commençait à en avoir assez de ne pouvoir obtenir des engagements financiers à long terme au Canada.
Two recent examples are a beef researcher from the University of Guelph, who moved down to North Dakota State University, and, more recently, a world-renowned geneticist from the University of Alberta who went back to Australia to head up their research program because he was getting kind of tired of not being able to get long-term funding commitments in Canada.
