Dans le cadre de cette convention, les parties (c’est-à-dire les pays de l’UE qui ont ratifié la convention) s’engagent à collaborer pour limiter, réduire graduellement et prévenir leurs rejets de polluants atmosphériques afin de lutter contre la pollution transfrontière occasionnée.
