À la suite de la récente discussion menée au sein de la commission parlementaire ENVI au sujet de la précédente question orale H-000072/2011 du député concernant l’aspartame, la Commission étudie actuellement la possibilité d’avancer la réalisation d’une réévaluation complète de l’aspartame à une date antérieure à celle prévue initialement au plus tard en décembre 2020, conformément au règlement (UE) n° 257/2010 de la Commission établissant un programme pour la réévaluation des additifs alimentaires autorisés.
(EN) Following the recent discussion which took place in Parliament Committee ENVI on the honourable Member's previous oral question H-000072/2011 related to aspartame, the Commission is currently reflecting on the possibility to advance a full re-evaluation of aspartame to an earlier date than the planned re-evaluation, which is foreseen at the latest for December 2020 according to Commission Regulation (EU) No 257/2010 setting up a programme of re-evaluation for food additives.

Poettering n'a pas seulement parlé du rapport Fiori : il a parlé de l'ensemble de l'ordre du jour de mercredi et, en tant que proposant, je pense que j'ai le droit à la parole, car mon groupe a proposé d'inclure à nouveau dans l'ordre du jour de mercredi matin les questions orales initialement adressées au Conseil à propos d'un sujet particulièrement important, surtout si nous prenons en considération le temps libre dont nous semblons disposer.
– (ES) Madam President, I would like to point out that I have the right to speak, for my esteemed fellow Member Mr Poettering did not only talk about the Fiori report: he spoke about the whole of Wednesday’s agenda, and as proposer, I feel that I have the right to speak, because it was my group that put forward the proposal to once again include in the agenda for Wednesday morning the oral questions that were initially put to the Council on a subject that is so important, especially if we consider the free time that we – according to what we are led to believe – have available.

Welcomes the animated nature of the Question Time session with the Commission in Rome, and calls on the JPA Bureau to organise in future a similar and less formal Question Time with the Council and Commission; suggests, to this end, and in the interests of efficient use of time, that the initial answers should be distributed in writing in advance; stresses that the purpose of oral questions is to give the tabler of the question and other Members of the JPA the opportunity to cross-question the Commission and Council representatives following the initial response to the tabled question;

2004 Report of the Commissioner of Firearms, tabled in the House of Commons, July 20, 2005 Statistics Canada table 254-0002, September 9, 2005 Question No. 180 Mr. Loyola Hearn: SWith regard to the U.S. booster rocket that was launched over Newfoundland and Labrador in May of 2005: (a) when was the government notified that the rocket was to be launched; (b) what was the government’s initial reaction to the notification of the launching of this rocket; (c) was there a request made by the government that the rocket not be launched and, if so, was the request an official request and was it oral or written; (d) was a Canadian environmental assessment performed before the launch of this rocket; (e) has a Canadian environmental assessment been performed since the launch of the rocket; (f) are there plans to do an environmental assessment; (g) what chemicals, if any, were deposited into the ocean as a result of the launching of this rocket; (h) was a clean-up of any chemicals performed as a result of the launching of this rocket and, if so, by whom and at what cost; (i) does the government have any scientific reports of the effects of the booster rocket chemicals on marine life; (j) is the government aware if the U.S. intends to launch future rockets over similar areas of our coastline and, if so, when will these rockets be launched; (k) has the booster been retrieved from the ocean floor; and (l) are there plans to retrieve the booster from the ocean floor and, if so, when and at what cost?

- (ES) Monsieur le Président, Mesdames et Messieurs, je me réjouis que cette Assemblée ait à nouveau l'occasion d'aborder le Plan hydrologique espagnol et la législation communautaire et je dis à nouveau parce que, comme vous vous en souviendrez, trois questions orales ont déjà été posées ici à ce sujet, en mon nom, mais je regrette par ailleurs que nous ne soyons finalement pas arrivés à inscrire à l'ordre du jour, dans sa forme originale, la question initiale convenue avec les groupes Verts/ALE et GUE/NGL, celle-ci ayant été remplacée par ces questions individuelles.
– (ES) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I welcome the fact that this House has had another opportunity to talk about the Spanish water plan and about Community legislation, and I say another opportunity because, as you will recall, a total of three oral questions have now been put in my name on this issue, but I also regret that in the end the initial question agreed with the Verts/ALE and GUE/NGL groups was not included on the agenda in its original form, and was replaced by these individual questions.
