This has paved the way for the first reading agreement, as on the 26th of June the Permanent Representatives Committee (Coreper) of the Council adopted the Council's final position and the outgoing Irish Presidency informed the European Parliament that the latest text outlined in the fourth column table document could constitute a basis for a compromise between the two institutions.
