IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

1. Pour les produits textiles énumérés à l'annexe I, les États membres notifient à la Commission, dans les trente jours suivant la fin de chaque mois, le total des quantités importées au cours dudit mois, par pays d'origine et par code NC ainsi que les unités, y compris, le cas échéant, les unités supplémentaires du code NC.

In respect of the textile products listed in Annex I, Member States shall notify the Commission, within 30 days following the end of each month, of the total quantities imported during that month by country of origin and CN code and the units, including where appropriate supplementary units of the CN code.

Tout d'abord, je voudrais rassurer cette Assemblée: la Commission surveille effectivement les quantités de tomates importées du Maroc de manière très régulière et très précise grâce à un système de contrôles croisés des quantités importées par des opérateurs marocains et la liste des importations quotidiennes fournie par les autorités douanières nationales.

3. Toutefois, par dérogation au paragraphe 2, en ce qui concerne la période allant du 1er janvier au 31 mars de chaque année civile, les moyennes journalières des importations nettes et de la consommation intérieure visées audit paragraphe sont déterminées sur la base des quantités importées ou consommées durant la pénultième année civile précédant l’année civile en question.
3. However, notwithstanding paragraph 2, the daily averages of net imports and inland consumption, as referred to in that paragraph, shall be determined, as regards the period from 1 January to 31 March of each calendar year, on the basis of the quantities imported or consumed during the last year but one before the calendar year in question.
