Bien que l’Assemblée ait adopté en 2004 et 2005 une résolution en réponse aux agressions physiques et psychologiques menées contre les habitants non serbes de cette région, et qu’elle ait également pris l’action exemplaire d’envoyer une mission d’inspection dans la région en 2005, les cas de violence, d’intimidation et d’humiliation à l’encontre des minorités qui y vivent, en particulier les Hongrois, non seulement se poursuivent mais semblent s’aggraver.
Although our Parliament adopted in both 2004 and 2005 a resolution in response to the physical and psychological attacks carried out against non-Serb inhabitants of this area and also took the exemplary action of sending a fact-finding delegation to the area in 2005, incidences of violence, intimidation and humiliation against the minorities living there, primarily Hungarians, are not only continuing, but seem to be getting worse.
