1975 et 1988, 3.354 projets d'infrastructures pour un montant d'environ 20 milliards d'ECUS; le doublement de la dotation du FEDER pour la période 1989 - 1993 donne une idée des possibilités offertes aux régions éligibles pour la mise en place de réseaux; - la Banque européenne d'investissement a octroyé, entre 1985 et 1989, des prêts totalisant 6.702 MECUS à des projets d'intérêt communautaire dans les secteurs des transports,

...[+++]the Bank's financing of "projects of common interest" or 16% of all the loans it granted during that period; - adoption of the framework programme for research and technological development for the period 1990-94 provides a legal basis and financial guidelines for promoting trans-European electronic data transmission (EDT) services and training networks, with a project on EDT systems in the general interest, which has an estimated budget of ECU 380 million, and another project concerning research networks and the mobility of research workers (ECU 493 million).
