Les États membres sont invités à : mettre en place des plans nationaux qui donnent une structure, une cohérence et une orientation aux actions en faveur du multilinguisme, y compris l’utilisation et la présence accrue de plusieurs langues dans la vie quotidienne[24] ; réexaminer leurs systèmes actuels de formation des enseignants de langues étrangères compte tenu des conclusions de l’étude sur le « Profil européen pour la formation des enseignants de langues étrangères »[25] ; réexaminer leurs systèmes actuels d’apprentissage des langues dès le plus jeune âge, compte tenu des meilleures pratiques recensées en Europe et appliquer les conclusions de la présidence luxembourgeoise concernant l’enseignement d’une matière par l’intégration d’une langue étrangère (EMILE), notamment la sensibilisation aux avantages de cette méthode, l’échange d’informations et de données scientifiques sur les bonnes pratiques et la formation spécifique des enseignants dans ce type d’enseignement.
Member States are invited to: establish national plans to give structure, coherence and direction to actions to promote multilingualism, including increasing the use and presence of a variety of languages in daily life; [24] review their current arrangements for foreign language teacher training in the light of the findings of the study ‘European Profile for Language Teacher Education’; [25] review their current arrangements for early language learning in the light of best practice from across Europe; and implement the Conclusions of the Luxembourg Presidency concerning Content and Language Integrated Learning, including raising awareness of the benefits of this approach, exchanging information and scientific evidence on good CLIL practice and specific CLIL training for teachers.

26. Deplores the decision of the Conference of Presidents to bar the engagement of MEPs in the CARS 2020 discussions; notes that many other representative organisations and Member State politicians are involved; demands that the Conference of Presidents review this decision in the light of the important proposals on the future of the car industry being developed in the CARS 2020 framework; notes that, as any legislation evolving from CARS 2020 will be closely examined and approved by the Parliament, participating in policy groups does not undermine Parliament’s independence.

– (EN) Je me félicite de cette résolution initiée par Mme Eva Joly et qui salue le fait qu’en 2009 l’APP ait pu continuer à offrir le cadre nécessaire à un dialogue ouvert, démocratique et approfondi entre l’Union européenne et les pays ACP. Cette résolution demande en outre l’établissement d’un dialogue politique poussé et salue dans le même temps la réponse positive du commissaire chargé du commerce à la demande de plusieurs pays et régions ACP de réexaminer les sujets litigieux soulevés au cours des négociations sur les APE, conformément aux déclarations du Président de la Commission. La résolution souligne enfin la nécessité d’organiser un suivi parlementaire des négociations et de la mise en œuvre des APE.
– I applaud this resolution, led by our colleague, Eva Joly, where it states that it welcomes the fact that in 2009, the JPA continued to provide a framework for an open, democratic and in-depth dialogue between the European Union and the ACP countries and calls for an enhanced political dialogue, welcomes the new Commissioner for Trade’s positive response to the request by several ACP countries and regions for a review of the contentious issues raised during negotiations on the EPA, in line with the statements made by the President of the Commission, and underlines the need for close parliamentary monitoring of the negotiations and implementation of the EPA.

– (DE) Monsieur le Président, notre groupe a déjà signalé la semaine dernière, lors de la Conférence des présidents, que le rapport Gallo – un rapport d’initiative très controversé au sein de cette Assemblée – devrait être réexaminé vu le débat permanent qu’il suscite.
– (DE) Mr President, our group already pointed out in the Conference of Presidents last week that the Gallo report – an own-initiative report that is very controversial in this House – ought to be reassessed in terms of our continued debating of it.
