La présidence craint grandement que le fait d’accéder à la demande du gouvernement de transformer une question en avis de motion soit perçu comme un recul au chapitre de l’évolution de la procédure régissant les questions écrites et soit contraire au dessein de la réforme McGrath d’instaurer une méthode plus efficace pour disposer des questions.
The Chair is extremely concerned that allowing the Government’s request to transform a question into a Notice of Motion would appear as a step backwards in the evolution of the procedure governing written questions and would go against the expectation of the McGrath reform to have a more efficient method of dealing with questions.
