Lorsque, aux termes des présents Statuts et dans les circonstances spéciales ou temporaires qui y sont spécifiées, un membre est autorisé à maintenir ou à établir des restrictions aux opérations de change, et qu’il existe d’autre part entre les membres d’autres engagements, antérieurs aux présents Statuts, incompatibles avec l’application de telles restrictions, les parties à de tels engagements se consulteront en vue d’y apporter les amendements mutuellement acceptables qui seraient nécessaires.
Where under this Agreement a member is authorized in the special or temporary circumstances specified in the Agreement to maintain or establish restrictions on exchange transactions, and there are other engagements between members entered into prior to this Agreement which conflict with the application of such restrictions, the parties to such engagements shall consult with one another with a view to making such mutually acceptable adjustments as may be necessary.

135. Until the Legislature of Ontario or Quebec otherwise provides, all Rights, Powers, Duties, Functions, Responsibilities, or Authorities at the passing of this Act vested in or imposed on the Attorney General, Solicitor General, Secretary and Registrar of the Province of Canada, Minister of Finance, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Commissioner of Public Works, and Minister of Agriculture and Receiver General, by any Law, Statute, or Ordinance of Upper Canada, Lower Canada, or Canada, and not repugnant to this Act, shall be vested in or imposed on any Officer to be appointed by the Lieutenant Governor for the Discharge of the same or any of them; and the Commissioner of Agriculture and Public Works shall perform the Duties and Functions of the Office of Minister of Agriculture at the passing of this Act imposed by the Law of the Province of Canada, as well as those of the Commissioner of Public Works (69)

(a) excluding, for the purposes of this Act, any provision or any part thereof of the Newfoundland Consumption Tax Acts, the Newfoundland Income Tax Act, the Newfoundland Insurance Companies Tax Act or the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act or of any regulation made thereunder that is inconsistent with this Act, the Atlantic Accord or any bilateral or international treaty, convention or agreement respecting taxation, tariffs or trade to which the Government of Canada is a signatory; and

Par. 7. Le Conseil a la faculté d’adopter les statuts, règles et règlements, non incompatibles avec les dispositions de la présente loi, qu’il peut juger nécessaires ou appropriés pour la convocation et la tenue de ses assemblées, ainsi que pour l’administration de ses affaires.
§ 7. The Board may adopt such by-laws, rules and regulations for the calling and conduct of its meetings and the management of its affairs as it may deem necessary or proper, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.

3. 3. In fulfilling their functions, the Director and the staff of the Commission shall not act in any manner that could be incompatible with their status or with the objective and provisions of this Convention, nor shall they have any financial interests in activities such as investigation and research, exploration, exploitation, processing and marketing of the fish stocks covered by this Convention.
