This Agreement shall be tacitly extended and apply under the same terms and conditions to the Euratom Programme 2019-2020, unless either party notifies its decision not to extend this Agreement to that Programme within three months after the adoption of the Euratom Programme 2019-2020.

Le présent règlement établit le programme de recherche et de formation de la Communauté européenne de l'énergie atomique pour la période du 1er janvier 2014 au 31 décembre 2018 (ci-après dénommé "programme Euratom"), et fixe les règles de participation à ce programme, y compris la participation aux programmes d'organismes de financement gérant les fonds octroyés conformément au présent règlement et aux activités menées conjointement au titre du présent règlement et du programme-cadre pour la recherche et l'innovation "Horizon 2020" (ci-après dénommé "programme-cadre Horizon 2020") établi par le règlement (UE) no 1291/2013 du Parlement européen et du Conseil.
This Regulation establishes the Research and Training Programme of the European Atomic Energy Community for the period from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2018 (the 'Euratom Programme'), and lays down the rules for participation in that Programme, including the participation in programmes of funding bodies managing the funds granted in accordance with this Regulation and in activities conducted jointly under this Regulation and under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (the 'Horizon 2020 Framework Programme') established by Regulation (EU) No 1291/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

2. L'enveloppe financière du programme Euratom peut couvrir les dépenses correspondant aux activités de préparation, de suivi, de contrôle, d'audit et d'évaluation qui sont requises pour la gestion dudit programme et la réalisation de ses objectifs, en particulier les études et réunions d'experts, dans la mesure où elles sont liées aux objectifs généraux du présent règlement, les dépenses liées aux réseaux informatiques centrés sur le traitement de l'information et les échanges d'informations, ainsi que toutes les autres dépenses d'assistance technique et administrative encourues par la Commission aux fins de la gestion du programme Euratom.
2. The financial envelope of the Euratom Programme may cover expenses pertaining to preparatory, monitoring, control, audit and evaluation activities which are required for the management of that Programme and the achievement of its objectives, in particular studies and meetings of experts, as far as they relate to the general objectives of this Regulation, and expenses linked to information technology networks focusing on information processing and exchange, together with all other technical and administrative assistance expenses incurred by the Commission for the management of the Euratom Programme.

La présente annexe décrit, pour chaque objectif spécifique du programme Euratom, un certain nombre d'indicateurs de performance aux fins de l'évaluation des résultats et des impacts, qui pourront être affinés au cours de la mise en œuvre du programme Euratom.
This Annex presents for each of the specific objectives of the Euratom Programme a number of key performance indicators for assessing results and impacts that may be refined during the implementation of the Euratom Programme.

2. En ce qui concerne les actions communautaires financées au titre du présent programme, les règlements (CE, Euratom) n° 2988/95 et (Euratom, CE) n° 2185/96 s'appliquent à toute violation d'une disposition de droit communautaire, y compris le non-respect d'une obligation contractuelle prévue dans le programme, résultant d'un acte ou d'une omission d'un opérateur économique qui a ou aurait pour effet de porter préjudice, par une dépense injustifiée, au budget général des Communautés ou à des budgets gérés par celles-ci.
2. For the Community actions financed under the programme, Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 2988/95 and Regulation (Euratom, EC) No 2185/96 shall apply to any infringement of a provision of Community law, including infringements of a contractual obligation stipulated on the basis of the programme, resulting from an act or omission by an economic operator, which has, or would have, the effect of prejudicing the general budget of the European Communities or budgets managed by them, by an unjustified item of expenditure.
