Chile shall allow the importation of the following quantities and products and with a gradual elimination of the customs duty in ten equal stages, the first taking place on the date of entry into force of this Agreement and the remaining on 1 January of each successive year, so that the customs duty is completely eliminated by 1 January of the tenth year after entry into force of this Agreement:

Les fonds qui seront engagés après le 31 décembre 2007 jusqu’à l’entrée en vigueur du présent accord, comme prévu ci-dessus, seront exclusivement utilisés pour permettre à l’Union européenne d’assurer une bonne gestion et pour couvrir les frais des projets en cours jusqu’à l’entrée en vigueur du 10e FED.
The funds possibly committed after 31 December 2007 until the entry into force of this Agreement, as referred to above, will be used exclusively to ensure the working ability of the EU administration and to cover the ongoing costs to sustain running projects until the 10th EDF comes into force.

La Communauté a ajouté, eu égard aux moyens matériels consacrés à la réalisation de cette coopération, une déclaration unilatérale dans laquelle elle se déclare disposée à "intensifier cette coopération tant du point de vue qualitatif que quantitatif" et où elle affirme que "les contributions financières qui seront mobilisées à cette fin correspondront aux objectifs élargis du présent accord".
As regards the resources needed to implement cooperation, the Community has included a unilateral declaration in which it states that it is prepared to intensify cooperation in terms of both quality and quantity and affirms that the financial resources to be made available for this purpose will reflect the greater scope of the Agreement.
