La Commission annonce aujourd'hui quels sont les partenariats interrégionaux sélectionnés pour bénéficier d'un soutien sur mesure destiné à des projets innovants dans le cadre d'une nouvelle action pilote subventionnée par l'Union.
Today the Commission is announcing which interregional partnerships will receive tailored support under a new EU-funded pilot action for innovative projects.

Notes with concern that the Baltic Sea is currently one of the most polluted seas in the world and reminds the Commission of its previous call for the drafting of a recommendation on an EU strategy for the Baltic, proposing measures to improve the environmental condition of the Baltic Sea, in order to reduce the eutrophication of the Baltic in particular and to prevent the discharge of oil and other toxic and damaging substances into the sea; recalls that existing instruments for cooperation, such as INTERREG programmes, should be fully exploited when implementing interregional projects to improve the state of the Baltic environment;

Je pense que les fonds destinés à la politique régionale de l’UE devraient aussi être mobilisés pour le financement de projets interrégionaux et transfrontaliers permettant un transfert d’expertise en faveur d’États membres et de régions dépourvus de la technologie nécessaire pour atteindre une plus grande efficacité énergétique.
I believe that the funds intended for the European Union’s regional policy should also be used to finance interregional and cross-border projects, to allow for the transfer of expertise to Member States and regions that do not have enough of a technological background to implement greater energy efficiency.
