L'Union européenne se félicite de l'adoption cette année au sein de la Commission des droits de l'homme du projet de Protocole facultatif à la Convention contre la torture et autres peines ou traitements cruels, inhumains ou dégradants, et elle demeure résolument déterminée à ce que ce projet de protocole facultatif aboutisse et soit définitivement adopté.
The European Union welcomes the adoption of the draft optional protocol of the UN Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment at The Commission on Human Rights this year and remains fully committed to the eventual success and final adoption of the draft optional Protocol.
