Dans les entretiens qu'elle a eus avec les parties, la Commission a souligné que, bien qu'elle n'ait pas d'objection à formuler sur l'opération PG- Finaf en ce qui concerne les produits pour incontinents adultes et les produits d'hygiène féminine - les gains de productivité attendus devraient profiter au consommateur et renforcer la concurrence au niveau européen - elle était toutefois contrainte de réviser sa position initiale du fait, en particulier, de la croissance constante de la part détenue par PG sur le marché des couches pour bébés.
In discussions with the parties the Commission pointed out that, although it had no objections to the PG- FINAF operation in relation to adult incontinence and feminine hygiene products, since this would create efficiencies benefiting the consumer and would strengthen competition on a European level, it was forced to revise its initial position mainly because of the continued growth of PG's share of the baby nappies market.
