L’égalité des chances fait partie des grands principes républicains français et je milite pour qu’elle soit respectée au niveau européen en application, notamment, du traité de Rome instituant la Communauté européenne et de la Charte des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne.
Equal opportunities form part of France’s great republican principles, and I argue for them to be respected at European level in accordance, for example, with the Treaty of Rome instituting the European Community and with the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.
