De façon générale, je doute que les événements récents qui sont pourtant décrits comme une grande victoire du Parlement européen aient réellement servi la cause d’une Europe plus démocratique et favorisé la sérénité du dialogue interinstitutionnel.
In general, I doubt if the recent events, which have however been described as a great victory for the European Parliament, have really served the cause of a more democratic Europe and smoothed the way for inter-institutional dialogue.
