It has done this, on the other one hand, by transforming the unfortunate and aggressive initial draft and, on the other, by taking on board that the agreements of the Third ASEM Conference in Seoul have replaced the initial proposals contained in the European Commission’s original document.

Nous devrons définir les orientations nécessaires pour renforcer notre dialogue politique, notre coopération économique et notre coopération sociale et culturelle, sans oublier ce que l'on appelle les sujets transnationaux.
But as we address these exceptional issues, we must also be able to take forward our long-term partnership, building on the foundations laid down in Bangkok, and working to strengthen our political dialogue, our economic cooperation, our cooperation on social and cultural issues, and also on transnational issues.
