Le rapport est présenté dans le contexte de la poursuite du développement dynamique du marché et du cadre réglementaire du secteur postal. Ceci s’inscrit dans la conformité au calendrier fixé dans la directive postale qui impose à la Commission de présenter avant la fin 2006 une proposition «confirmant, le cas échéant, la date de 2009 pour l’achèvement du Marché intérieur des services postaux ou définissant toute autre étape».
The Report is being presented against the background of continuing dynamic regulatory and market development in the postal sector and the timetable set out in the Postal Directive for the Commission to make a proposal by the end of 2006, “confirming if appropriate the date of 2009 for the full accomplishment of the postal internal market or determining any other step”.
