Position: Support the proposals for amendments to Articles 1 § 1 and 2, 3 (new letter aa) and amendments to letters b), c) and g)), 5 § 1, 5bis § 1 and 2, 7 § 2, 8 § 1 and 2, 9 § 1, and 10 § 3 CUI, and request the Secretary-General of OTIF to submit all the modifications to the CUI UR to the General Assembly for decision.

Position: Prendre note du rapport du secrétaire général, fournir des informations sur les activités en cours et les évolutions, encourager la poursuite des travaux sur l'évaluation des interfaces entre la réglementation douanière et la réglementation du transport ferroviaire, et soutenir la mise en place d'un groupe de travail d'experts juridiques, ou d'autres arrangements en matière de coordination au sein des organes de l'OTIF existants, en ce qui concerne les questions douanières et la numérisation des documents de transport de fret.
Position: Take note of the Secretary General's report, provide some information on relevant on-going activities and developments, encourage further work on the assessment of interfaces between customs and rail transport regulations, and support the establishment of a working group of legal experts, or alternative coordination arrangements within existing OTIF bodies, concerning customs issues and the digitalisation of freight transport documents.

A developing country which elects to apply the Harmonized System partially under the provisions of this Article shall on becoming a Contracting Party notify the Secretary-General of those subheadings which it will not apply on the date when this Convention enters into force in respect of it and shall also notify the Secretary-General of those subheadings which it applies thereafter.
