Je crois donc que ces aspects du rapport Podimata méritent notre soutien, et je voudrais, à ce stade, appeler le Parlement à être fidèle à lui-même, en rappelant à cette Assemblée qu’elle a elle-même approuvé en mars 2010 l’introduction de ce prélèvement, dans un rapport consacré à l’impact de la crise sur les pays en développement.
I therefore believe that these aspects of the Podimata report deserve our support, and I would at this point like to call on Parliament to be true to itself, reminding the House that introduction of the levy was approved by this Chamber in March 2010 in a report on the impact of the crisis on developing countries.
