The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) can co-finance sustainable tourism investments under various thematic objectives linked to research and innovation, access to and use of ICT, entrepreneurship, SME growth and competitiveness, energy efficiency and renewable energy use, adaptation to climate change, development of cultural and natural heritage or employment and labour mobility.

2. Par dérogation au paragraphe 1, la Commission peut accepter, dans des circonstances dûment justifiées liées à la réalisation d'un ou plusieurs objectifs thématiques et sur proposition d'un État membre lors de sa première soumission de l'accord de partenariat ou, dans des circonstances dûment justifiées, au moment de l'allocation de la réserve de performance, ou dans le cadre d'une révision majeure de l'accord de partenariat, de transférer jusqu'à 3 % du total des crédits d'une catégorie de régions vers d'autres catégories.
2. By way of derogation from paragraph 1, the Commission may accept, in duly justified circumstances which are linked to the implementation of one or more thematic objectives, a proposal by a Member State in its first submission of the Partnership Agreement or, in duly justified circumstances, at the time of allocation of the performance reserve, or in a major revision of the Partnership Agreement, to transfer up to 3 % of the total appropriation for a category of regions to other categories of regions.

Si le rapport d'évaluation à mi-parcours établi fait apparaître une ou plusieurs priorités thématiques spécifiques importantes qui ne figurent pas dans la liste de l'annexe I mais qui s'avèrent nécessaires afin de réaliser les objectifs généraux et spécifiques du programme, la Commission est habilitée à adopter, au plus tard le 31 août 2017, des actes délégués en conformité avec l'article 18 afin d'ajouter la ou les priorités thématiques concernées à l'annexe I. Une priorité thématique est réalisable pendant la durée du programme.
2. Where the mid-term evaluation report identifies one or more specific, significant thematic priorities which are not listed in Annex I, but which have become necessary to achieve the general and specific objectives of the Programme, the Commission shall be empowered to adopt, by 31 August 2017, delegated acts in accordance with Article 18 in order to add the thematic priority or priorities concerned to Annex I. A thematic priority shall be achievable within the duration of the Programme.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Fund-specific rules, to increase impact and effectiveness in a thematically coherent integrated approach a priority axis may concern more than one category of region, combine one or more complementary investment priorities from the ERDF, Cohesion Fund and ESF under one thematic objective and, in duly justified cases combine one or more complementary investment priorities from different thematic objectives in order to achieve the maximum contribution to that priority axis.

Le cas échéant, et afin d'augmenter son impact et son efficacité, au moyen d'une approche intégrée et cohérente sur le plan thématique pour atteindre les objectifs de la stratégie de l'Union pour une croissance intelligente, durable et inclusive, un axe prioritaire peut, dans des cas dûment justifiés, combiner une ou plusieurs priorités d'investissement complémentaires relevant d'objectifs thématiques différents afin de contribuer au maximum à cet axe prioritaire.
Where appropriate, and in order to increase its impact and effectiveness through a thematically coherent integrated approach to pursuing the objectives of the Union strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, a priority axis may, in duly justified cases, combine one or more complementary investment priorities from different thematic objectives in order to achieve the maximum contribution to that priority axis.

Without prejudice to Article 59 of Regulation (EU) No 1303/2013, a priority axis shall correspond to a thematic objective and comprise one or more of the investment priorities of that thematic objective in line with Articles 6 and 7 of this Regulation.
