C’est pour cette raison que je me range à l’avis du président José Manuel Durão Barroso qui estime que le budget qui sera alloué à la politique de cohésion devra au moins équivaloir au budget actuel, faute de quoi ces discours resteront des vœux pieux et porteront préjudice au projet européen lui-même.
This is why I agree with the view of President José Manuel Durão Barroso that the budget allocated to the cohesion policy in the future must be at least equal to the current one. Otherwise, these will remain just fine words and we will undermine the European project itself.
