Il serait souhaitable, du point de vue de l'élargissement, que la nouvelle perspective financière globale qui s'appliquera à l'Union à compter de 2007 préserve cette continuité, tout au moins comme point de départ. On ne saurait toutefois exclure que le cadre financier pour la Bulgarie et la Roumanie doive subir d'importantes adaptations à la suite des futures réformes des politiques ou si l'évolution de la perspective financière globale lui imprimait des modifications fondamentales.
Although it would be desirable from the point of view of enlargement that the new overall financial perspective for the Union starting in 2007 preserves this continuity, at least as a starting point, it cannot be excluded that the financial framework for Bulgaria and Romania will need to be adapted in important respects to reflect future policy reforms or fundamental changes to the overall financial perspective as compared to the current perspective.
