The eligible measures cover in particular the following fields: - advice and equipment to help improve the know-how base in the businesses concerned: quality control, computer-aided design, marketing, health and safety; - support for local groupings of companies and for cooperation, networking and information on markets; - business audits on the above themes by a special taskforce, in particular within SMEs, financial engineering schemes; - temporary contribution to the remuneration of personnel recruited as part of modernization plans; - staff training in companies, as well as of personnel in the military sector made redundant or facing redundancy; - rehabilitation of areas where the environment has been damaged by military activities; - promotion of alternative activities, in particular via the creation of small businesses; - modernization of economic and social infrastructures; - promotion of tourism.
