(14.1) Where, at the end of the day on which a taxpayer dies and as a consequence of the death, an amount would, but for this subsection, be deemed by subsection 104(5.1) to have been paid to a trust out of the trust’s interest in a NISA Fund No. 2 and the trust and the legal representative of the taxpayer so elect in prescribed manner, such portion of the amount as is designated in the election shall be deemed to have been paid to the taxpayer out of a NISA Fund No. 2 of the taxpayer immediately before the end of the day and, for the purpose of paragraph (a) of the description of B in subsection 12(10.2) in respect of the trust, the amount shall be deemed to have been paid out of the trust’s NISA Fund No. 2 immediately before the end of the day.

(5) If a dead heat described in subsection (1) occurs and, after betting has been closed for the first race of the daily double, a horse, entry or mutuel field in the second race is scratched, an association shall calculate the pay-out price of a daily double pool in accordance with subsection (2), except that the net pool shall be reduced by the sum of the products obtained from multiplying the amount of money bet on the combination of each winning horse in the first race with the scratched horse, entry or mutuel field in the second race by the respective consolation double calculated pursuant to subsection (4).

Notwithstanding paragraph 2, the second subparagraph of paragraph 6 and the second subparagraph of paragraph 8, any ingredient used in production of a foodstuff and still present in the finished product, even if in altered form, and listed in Annex IIIa or originating from an ingredient listed in Annex IIIa shall be indicated on the label with a clear reference to the name of this ingredient.

The second new subsection, subsection 3.2, allows the governor in council or a lieutenant governor in council as the case may be, to designate a person or body as a public authority for the purpose of the other added subsection and provides that this designation is conclusive evidence that this person or body is such a public authority.
