Whereas it is desirable to permit a UCITS to invest its assets in units of other collective investment undertakings of the open-ended type which also invest in transferable securities and which operate on the principle of risk-spreading; whereas the requirement of risk spreading for UCITS investing in other collective investment undertakings is indirectly respected since such UCITS can only invest in units issued by collective investment undertakings complying with the risk spreading criteria of Directive 85/611/EEC ; whereas it is important that such UCITS adequately disclose to investors the fact that they invest in units of other collective investment undertakings;
