4. 4. During a period of 12 months beginning one month after the notification referred to in paragraph 2, and subject to Articles 20(3) and 21(2)(b), the other Party shall provisionally authorise the import and the marketing of wines originating in the notifying Party, which are produced in accordance with the oenological practice or process in question.

At the end of the period referred to in paragraph 1 or, where applicable, paragraph 2, and after gathering all the information on the experiment, the Commission may, if appropriate, submit to the Council a proposal for definitive authorisation of the oenological practice or process covered by the experiment.
