Pour une denrée alimentaire ou un aliment pour animaux contenant des OGM ou consistant en de tels organismes, ou bien le demandeur peut présenter la demande en vertu du seul règlement (CE) n° 1829/2003, en application du principe de la procédure unique (« one door, one key ») pour obtenir une autorisation de dissémination volontaire d'un OGM dans l'environnement – selon les critères établis par la directive 2001/18/CE – et une autorisation d'utilisation de cet OGM dans les denrées alimentaires et aliments pour animaux – selon les critères établis par le règlement (CE) n° 1829/2003, ou bien le demandeur peut choisir de scinder la demande et de l’introduire en vertu de la directive 2001/18/CE et du règlement (CE) n° 1829/2003.
For a food or feed product containing GMOs or consisting of such organisms, the applicant has a choice: either file the application exclusively under Regulation 1829/2003 pursuant to the "one door, one key" principle in order to obtain an authorisation for the deliberate release of a GMO into the environment — in accordance with the criteria established by Directive 2001/18/EC — and the authorisation to use this GMO in food and feed — in accordance with the criteria established by Regulation 1829/2003.; Or, the applicant can choose to split the application, and submit it both under Directive 2001/18/EC and Regulation 1829/2003.
