(9) Le règlement (CE) n° 1361/2008 du Conseil du 16 décembre 2008 modifiant le règlement (CE) n° 219/2007 relatif à la constitution d'une entreprise commune pour la réalisation du système européen de nouvelle génération pour la gestion du trafic aérien (SESAR) dispose que le mandat du directeur exécutif en fonction le 1 janvier 2009 prend fin à la date à laquelle l'entreprise commune cesse d'exister et que, en cas de prolongation de la durée d'existence de l'entreprise commune, une nouvelle procédure de nomination du directeur exécutif devrait être lancée conformément à l'article 7, paragraphe 2, de l'annexe du règlement (CE) n° 219/2007.
(9) Council Regulation (EC) No 1361/2008 of 16 December 2008 amending Regulation (EC) No 219/2007 on the establishment of a joint undertaking to develop the new generation European air traffic management system (SESAR) indicates that the mandate of the Executive Director in force on 1 January 2009 shall cease on the date on which the Joint Undertaking shall cease to exist and that in the event of an extension of the duration of the Joint Undertaking, a new procedure leading to the appointment of the Executive Director should be launched in accordance with Article 7(2) of the Annex to Regulation (EC) No 219/2007.

(4) L'entreprise commune SESAR (ci-après l'«entreprise commune») a été constituée par le règlement (CE) n° 219/2007 du 27 février 2007 en vue de gérer les activités relevant du processus de développement du projet SESAR financées au titre des perspectives financières de l'Union pour 2007-2013.
(4) The SESAR Joint Undertaking (the 'Joint Undertaking') was set up by Regulation (EC) No 219/2007 of 27 February 2007, for the purpose of managing the activities of the development process of the SESAR project under the Union’s 2007-2013 financial perspectives.

(6) Conformément à l'article 1 , paragraphe 2, du règlement (CE) n° 219/2007, l'entreprise commune devrait cesser d'exister le 31 décembre 2016 ou huit ans après l'approbation par le Conseil du plan directeur européen de gestion du trafic aérien (ci-après le «plan directeur ATM»), au premier des deux termes échus.
(6) In accordance with Article 1(2) of Regulation (EC) No 219/2007, the Joint Undertaking should cease to exist on 31 December 2016 or eight years after an endorsement by the Council of the European Air Traffic Management Master Plan (the 'ATM Master Plan'), whichever is the earlier.

Le règlement (CE) n° 219/2007 (règlement «EC SESAR») prévoit que l’entreprise commune SESAR cessera d’exister le 31 décembre 2016, car le financement de l’Union dont elle bénéficie a dû être limité à la période couverte par le cadre financier de l’UE pour 2007–2013.
Regulation (EC) 219/2007 (the SESAR JU Regulation) establishes that the SESAR JU will cease to exist on 31 December 2016, as the Union funding for the Joint Undertaking had to be limited to the period covered by the Union’s 2007-2013 financial framework.
