Le règlement du Parlement européen et du Conseil relatif au Fonds social européen et abrogeant le règlement (CE) n° 1081/2006 met en place le cadre dans lequel s'inscrit l'action du Fonds social européen (FSE), qui prévoit une concentration des financements sur un nombre réduit d'objectifs liés à la Stratégie Europe 2020.
