Le sénateur Andreychuk: Je demanderai au leader du gouvernement de bien vouloir signaler au gouvernement que, selon moi, il est temps que nous déterminions clairement combien nous allons consacrer à l'aide humanitaire en cas de catastrophe d'origine naturelle ou humaine, combien nous allons consacrer aux missions de maintien de la paix et combien nous allons consacrer au développement proprement dit.
Senator Andreychuk: I would ask the Leader of the Government in the Senate to bring to the attention of the government my suggestion that it is time that we clearly delineate what is humanitarian assistance for man-made or natural disasters, what we spend in peacekeeping and what we allocate for true development.
