The bomb episode, the bigoted remarks of the Whip of the Reform Party on Tuesday, so eloquently refuted by Senator Oliver yesterday, and the waning commitment in my province in the human rights field, as exhibited by the refusal of the Alberta government to support the Human Rights Commission in that province, are all too frequent reminders of the declining commitment in our nation to the plight of our minorities, and the fact that there are many problems out there that need attention.
