8. The presence of any polybrominated diphenyl ether shall be determined by a laboratory that is accredited under the International Organization for Standardization standard ISO/IEC 17025: 2005, entitled General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, as amended from time to time, and whose accreditation includes the analysis of polybrominated diphenyl ethers within its scope of testing.

The presence of any substance referred to in section 1 shall be determined by a laboratory that is accredited under the International Organization for Standardization standard ISO/IEC 17025: 2005, entitled General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, as amended from time to time, and whose accreditation includes the analysis of that substance within its scope of testing.

4 (1) Any laboratory that performs an analysis on which a manufacturer relies for the purposes of these Regulations shall be accredited under the International Organization for Standardization standard ISO/IEC 17025, first edition, dated December 15, 1999, entitled General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

As long as the references of the European standards referred to in paragraph 1 have not yet been determined, the websites concerned that meet the parts of the ISO/IEC 40500: 2012 covering the Success Criteria and Conformance Requirements for Level AA conformance, shall be presumed to be in conformity with the web-accessibility requirements set out in Article 3 .
