19. rappelle que, conformément aux conclusions du Conseil européen de Copenhague en 1993, la capacité de l'Union à absorber la Turquie tout en maintenant la dynamique de l'intégration européenne est un élément crucial à prendre en compte dans l'intérêt général de l'Union comme de la Turquie; apporte son soutien à la Commission dans le contrôle, au cours des négociations, de la capacité de l'Union à absorber la Turquie, et rappelle par conséquent à la Commission sa demande, reprise dans sa dernière résolution sur les progrès réalisés par la Turquie sur la voie de l'adhésion, adoptée le 15 décembre 2004, de disposer du suivi de l'étude d'impact en 2005, qui fournira de précieuses informations sur cet aspect important de la question;
19. Recalls that, in accordance with the conclusions of the Copenhagen European Council in 1993, the Union's capacity to absorb Turkey while maintaining the momentum of European integration is an important consideration in the general interest of both the Union and Turkey; supports the Commission in monitoring during the negotiations the Union's capacity to absorb Turkey, and therefore reminds the Commission of its demand, included in the last European Parliament resolution on Turkey's progress towards accession, adopted on 15 December 2004, to receive the follow-up to the impact study in 2005, which would provide useful information about this important aspect of the question;
