Il suffit d'examiner l'article 136 de ce projet de loi pour comprendre que, au sein de l'Office des terres et des eaux de la vallée du Mackenzie, on continuera de nommer un représentant de la Première Nation des Gwich’ins, un représentant de la Première Nation du Sahtu, un représentant de la Première Nation des Tlichos, et des représentants d'autres Premières Nations de la vallée du Mackenzie qui habitent à l'extérieur des terres visées par le règlement, notamment dans le Wek'èezhii.
People need to look at clause 136 of this bill to understand that the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board in fact will continue, with one member appointed on the nomination of the Gwich'in first nation, one member appointed on the nomination of the Sahtu first nation, one member appointed by the Tlicho first nation, and members appointed by other first nations in the Mackenzie Valley region outside the settlement areas in Wek'èezhii and so on.
