Un degré plus élevé d'éducation aux médias contribuerait grandement à la réalisation des objectifs que l'Union européenne s'est fixés au Conseil européen de Lisbonne et dans le cadre de l'initiative i2010, notamment en ce qui concerne une économie de la connaissance plus compétitive, tout en contribuant à une société de l'information plus intégratrice.
A higher degree of media literacy would significantly help to approaching the objectives set for the European Union at the Lisbon European Council and in the i2010 initiative in particular regarding a more competitive knowledge economy, while contributing to a more inclusive information society.
