I would like to put an amendment to this, if I could, because there was an agreement made earlier, notwithstanding the motion put by Senator Milne, that Bill C-2 be reported back to the Senate no later than the afternoon session of the Senate on Tuesday, September 26, the reason being that it was a previous agreement made by the steering committee — it is in writing — that this bill would be reported back by September 26.
