B. considérant que le soja génétiquement modifié MON-877Ø5-6 × MON-89788-1, décrit dans la demande, possède une expression réduite des enzymes FAD2 (Δ12 désaturase d'acides gras) et FATB (palmitoyl-ACP thioestérase), résultant en un profil enrichi en acide oléique et appauvri en acide linoléique et exprimant la protéine CP4 EPSPS, qui confère une tolérance aux herbicides contenant du glyphosate; considérant que le 20 mars 2015, le Centre international de recherche sur le cancer, l'agence spécialisée de l'Organisation mondiale de la santé en matière de recherche sur le cancer, a classé le glyphosate comme étant probablement cancérigène pour l'homme ;
B. whereas the genetically modified MON-877Ø5-6 × MON-89788-1 soybean, as described in the application, has a reduced expression of fatty acid Δ12-desaturase (FAD2) and palmitoyl acyl carrier protein thioesterase (FATB) enzymes, which results in increased oleic acid and reduced linoleic acid profile and expresses the CP4 EPSPS protein which confers tolerance to glyphosate herbicides; whereas the International Agency for Research on Cancer – the specialised cancer agency of the World Health Organisation – classified glyphosate as probably carcinogenic to humans on 20 March 2015 ;
