Mme Banotti sait certainement que le Conseil européen qui s’est tenu à Lisbonne en mars 2000 a demandé aux États membres et à la Commission en particulier d’entreprendre des actions afin de progresser de manière significative dans l’éradication de la pauvreté. L’agenda de Lisbonne n’était pas entièrement axé sur l’entreprise.
As Mrs Banotti is undoubtedly aware, the Lisbon European Council in March 2000 asked the Member States and the Commission in particular to take steps to make a decisive impact on the eradication of poverty; the whole Lisbon Agenda was not just focused on enterprise.
