Participants were addressed by three conventionists, Marie Nagy, (alternate) representative of the Belgian Parliament, and two MEPs, Jens-Peter Bonde and Alain Lamassoure. The speakers gave their views on Convention proceedings and developments one month away from the presentation of the draft constitutional treaty to the heads of state and government at the European Council meeting in Thessaloniki on 20 and 21 June.
