Lors de la signature à Luxembourg le 25 juin 2005 de la révision de l’accord de partenariat ACP-CE, les parties ont fait une déclaration commune spécifiant que «le Conseil des ministres ACP-CE examinera, en vertu des dispositions visées à l’article 100 de l’accord de Cotonou, les propositions des États ACP concernant l’annexe II dudit accord relative aux fluctuations à court terme des recettes d’exportations».
At the signing of the revised ACP-EC Partnership Agreement in Luxembourg on 25 June 2005, the Parties made a joint declaration that: ‘The ACP-EC Council of Ministers will examine, in application of the provisions contained in Article 100 of the Cotonou Agreement, the proposals of the ACP side concerning Annex II thereof on short-term fluctuations in export earnings’.

L’article 94 de l’accord ACP-UE révisé dispose que toute demande d’adhésion d’un État est portée à la connaissance du Conseil des ministres ACP-UE et approuvée par ce dernier.

Conformément à l’article 13, paragraphe 2, de l’annexe IV de l’accord, le Conseil des ministres ACP invite la Commission à financer le soutien octroyé à la Facilité ACP-UE pour l’eau sur la base de la coopération intra-ACP pour les montants visés aux articles 1 et 2.
In accordance with Article 13(2) of Annex IV to the Agreement, the ACP Council of Ministers requests the Commission to finance support for the ACP-EU Water Facility from intra-ACP cooperation for the amounts referred to in Articles 1 and 2.

La Commission a informé le Conseil des ministres ACP de l’augmentation de 24 millions d’euros de l’allocation intra-ACP du 9e FED et a proposé que ces ressources soient consacrées à la création d’une Facilité ACP-UE pour l’eau.
The Commission notified to the ACP Council of Ministers the increase of the 9th EDF intra-ACP allocation by EUR 24 million and proposed that these resources be used for a contribution to an ACP-EU Water Facility.

(1) By Decision No 10/2001 of the ACP-EC Committee of Ambassadors of 20 December 2001 on the use of unallocated resources from the 8th European Development Fund(1) and Decision No 3/2002 of the ACP-EC Council of Ministers, of 23 December 2002 on the reallocation of unallocated resources as well as uncommitted interest subsidies from the Eighth European Development Fund(2), the ACP-EC Council of Ministers allocated resources to peace-building, conflict prevention and resolution for a total amount of EUR 75 million.

The names, positions and addresses of the Chairman-in-Office of the Committee of ACP Ambassadors, the Secretary or Secretaries and Deputy Secretary or Deputy Secretaries of the Council of ACP Ministers and of the permanent members of the staff of the Secretariat of the ACP States shall be communicated periodically by the President of the Council of ACP Ministers to the Government of the State in whose territory the Council of ACP Ministers is established.
