Le ministre des Transports s'est engagé à présenter un nouveau projet de loi modifiant la Loi sur la marine marchande du Canada pour faire en sorte que les définitions d'enfant et de mineur soient interprétées conformément à la définition d'enfant proposée dans la Convention de l'ONU relative aux droits de l'enfant.
The Minister of Transport has committed to introducing new legislation regarding the Canada Shipping Act which will ensure that the definitions of child and infant are interpreted consistently with the definition of child proposed in article one of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
